Each class book is accompanied by a pupil CD-ROM. This contains every page of the class book as an interactive PDF that has pop-up questions and links to examples and explanations. The pupil page itself has a strong emphasis on progression within exercises.

The Cambridge Essentials teaching experience

Teacher CD-ROM contains the full pupil CD-ROM material and adds links to our updateable Online Planner. This provides a huge range of materials for teaching, all organised and matched to the book.

Teaching is supported by a choice of worksheets of different difficulties, homework, starters and plenaries, e-learning tests and other guidance. The Planner makes it easy to switch between the books and between sections of a book. All the materials are presented clearly on screen with previews, and are available to download as printable PDFs and as editable files.

The Cambridge Essentials Online Planner makes it easy and quick for you to find all the activities that are associated with any section of the book.

• Updateable - easy and quick to update with key stage 3 curriculum changes.
• From each Topic of the teacher's interactive PDF, there is a link directly into the Planner. The Planner loads with the selected Topic displayed.
• Appropriate guidance (PoS references, learning outcomes, ideas for teaching and extension, functional maths etc) is shown alongside the book page.
• Associated e-learning activities are also displayed alongside the book.
• Worksheets, tests and all the other resources are listed in a menu.
